The So Dreamed Age in the US

One of biggest drama about teenagers living in the US is to turn 21.  Reasons are many things you can do after  this age such as  buy cars, buy home and the most important being able to legally drink alcohol.  Teenagens get so exiceted because they know they can get to any club and drink watever they want. Theire is no more need to ask someone to get it for you and miss having fun with their older friends.  I experience this situation of being unable to hang out at clubs when I moved here because I was under 21. In contrast to my country where you are allowed to drink and go out with age of eighteen.

Differences Between Brazil and the United States

Brazil and the United States have a number of differences and similiarities.  The culture in these two big countries is the main contrast between them.  People from both countries may like or dislike their own country or other, but is difficult to say which is better because it varies  from person to person.  However, it is difficulto to not realize the big differences in the culture of Brazil and the US. Life style for instance is an good example.  While in the United States people have good wage and salaries; in Brazil most of people pray to have a job that pays you well. Another contrast is conversation style.  In my country usually conversation is very dynamic and considered very noisy. It seems that everyone is talking at once while here there is a quitier way to talk and I belive they consider to be rude this noisy conversation

Shortly after their arrival in the Brazilian capitol, however, the two rare birds fall victim to a gang of greedy animal smugglers intent on making a mint by selling Blu and Jewel to the highest bidder. But the headstrong Jewel isn't about to be locked in a cage and put on display, so when the opportunity arises she stages a daring escape with the help of some wisecracking local birds, and takes her new friend Blu along for the ride. With the bumbling birdnappers fast closing in, Blu realizes that his only hope for making a clean getaway and reuniting with Linda is to finally summon the courage he needs to take flight.

Family Sundays

" Family Sundays" is one of the things that i most miss from my country Brazil. It is a day when all the family would get together to talk about their week and projects, have fun, eat  and drink a good bear.. I miss this a lot because here I dont have any family member. I can remeber all the times that we spent together during those Sundays. I used to make everyone laugh and everyone used to give advice and help each other it they needed something. I miss this so much!!

The most popular food in Brazil

When people ask me about a typical  food in my country the first meal that comes to my mind is Feijoada. Hummm.. it is really good. Feijoada is prepared with black turtle beans and a variety of salted pork and beef products, such as pork ears, tail, feet, bacon, and some smoke sausage. This stew is best prepared over slow fire in a thick clay pot. It taste strong so I recommend to eat at lunch time.  It is traditionally served with white rice, and accompanied by chopped fried collard greens, and peeled and sliced orange.  Believe me it is really good =]
